Description
GPS systems largely contribute to in-flight stability, positioning, and Return-to-Home actions.
Drones will often enter ATTI (Attitude) mode when GPS is lost. As a result, the drone will tend to "drift" - especially in strong winds.
Common causes of a weak GPS signal are radio emissions and space weather. Also, keep in mind that GPS and GLONASS satellites are constantly in orbit - which means that your signal may vary depending on the time/day.
