Description

This is notifying you that the wind conditions at the drone's current location are very strong - you should proceed with caution while keeping the drone close by.

Take into account that wind conditions are typically stronger at higher altitudes. Check out our OK TO FLY tool, which provides wind speeds at varying altitudes for your location.

Flying in strong winds can greatly reduce battery life, especially if you are facing a headwind for a sustained period. Additionally, if GPS is lost when flying in heavy winds, the drone will become extremely difficult to control due to the lack of positioning capabilities.

Most manuals will provide the maximum safe wind speed for the drone.
