"Detected side/backward/forward shock / possible collision, aircraft is pitching/rolling sharply forward/backwards/left/right"

Current Worldwide Frequency

RareCommon

Severity: Medium Risk

Triggered when the aircraft pitches (tips forward/backward) or rolls (tips right/left) beyond normal operating parameters.

Possible causes include 1) a propeller breaking or falling off 2) an exceptionally strong wind gust or 3) a collision or a bird strike.

It is strongly advised that you thoroughly inspect the aircraft for damage if you receive this warning. An inspection should include checking the propellers for cracks or damage, looking for cracks in the outer shell, specifically around the motors which are areas more prone to cracks, and testing the gimbal operation. We also recommend reviewing any other notifications for this flight to better understand the cause of this warning.

After performing a visual inspection, we encourage you to conduct a short test flight, keeping the aircraft close to the ground. Does the drone hover evenly (not titled)? Listen for any abnormal noises and keep an eye on the flight app for any unusual tips/warnings.

This will register if you hand catch your Mini 3 Pro and turn it off by flipping it upside down. Good to know.

Impatto con cavi elettrici. Solo danni alle eliche. Il mini2 si è ristabilizzato dopo qualche secondo. Sostituito eliche e drone come nuovo dopo accurato controllo danni. Grande Mini2

Drone M30T was in sport mode (2km distance, AGL ~400m), when lost video signal, it fell down and broke 99% of parts. I don't got it, why its happen ?!
3rd propeller was some little problem, but i not think its makes a problem, coz until this was more flight and all was good!

DJI Phantom 4 PRO RTK was 90% done with a flight I've done multiple times in the past. Flight conditions where within normal range. Drone de linked upon exiting a ~150 degree turn I received a notification "Air Craft De-Linked" and watched the drone fall to the ground from 90 meters height. Drone was completely destroyed, checked flight logs, it gave this warning 4 times. My best guess is a small bird or a propeller ejection as there was little wind, however, drone came down with all 4 propellers, however due to the way it landed one of them split in two so it's hard to tell.
