Preparing Equipment for Sale/Donation/Sharing
Perform Factory Reset of Phones/Tablets/Remote ControllersPerform a factory reset for any phone, tablet, or remote controller you plan to sell.
A factory reset is the most comprehensive way to digitally remove your private info from the device, and will remove any saved login info.
Note: This will delete all data on the device, including any historical flight logs.
Please ensure that any flight data you wish to save has already been backed up or uploaded to AirData.
Blocking Uploads from Equipment Already Sold/Donated/Shared
1. Logging Out of AirData App and app.airdata.comIf possible, contact the new owners of your equipment and ask that they log out of the AirData UAV mobile app and app.airdata.com
If you prefer, the AirData team can also force a logout for specific AirData accounts.
Please send us an email at support@airdata.com with a list of pilot accounts that are receiving outside uploads.
2. Changing Your AirData Auto Upload Token
You will need to reset the AirData Auto Upload Token for all affected AirData accounts.
As a pilot, you can reset your own Token by heading to app.airdata.com -> My Account -> Auto Upload Token -> Reset User Token

Resetting the Token will help prevent further uploads to those accounts.

3. Signing Out of and Signing Back Into AirData UAV
Any affected pilot will need to sign out of and back into the AirData UAV mobile app after their Upload Token is reset.
Deactivating Retired Pilot Accounts
To fully prevent uploads from a retired Enterprise Pilot account, you will need to:a) Remove all permissions from that Pilot’s account,
b) Reset their Auto Upload Token,
c) Sign them out of all instances of AirData.

Preventing Uploads from Personal Accounts
Some customers maintain multiple active AirData accounts for different business entities or personal use.As a best practice, we recommend using different login emails for your separate accounts.
This will help you verify that you are signed into the correct account. To ensure flights upload to the correct account, please log into the correct AirData UAV account or flight app account before starting your flights.
