DJI GO, GO 4, and Pilot with DJI Direct Sync

Direct DJI Sync


Sync your DJI GO, DJI Fly and DJI Pilot flights with Airdata automatically.

Instead of having to connect your device to a desktop computer and transfer the files manually, this will sync the flights directly to Airdata.com for you.

This is the recommended auto-sync method for iOS users.

How does it work?
Airdata will download your flights from the DJI Cloud. On iOS devices, due to the secure Apple sandboxed environment, our mobile app is not able to read the log files on the device itself (which is possible on Android). Therefore, the DJI cloud must be used to synchronize flights.

If you prefer to avoid sending data to DJI, you can use 3rd party flight apps that we have partnered with, which will upload their flight logs directly to Airdata automatically without sending those to DJI.

After Flying

After flying, make sure to sync DJI GO, DJI FLY or DJI PILOT on your phone / tablet.
This will upload all recent flights to the DJI cloud, making them available to download.

iOS instructions

Android or Built-in screen (Phantom 4 Pro+ / CrystalSky)



On iOS - iPhone or iPad

    In DJI GO, click the top-left icon to view your flights:





    Then click the top-right icon to sync your flights with the DJI servers:





    Go to Airdata's DJI Login page, and click on the Sync button.

    Moving forward, your DJI flights will automatically sync on your first login each day, as well as automatically once a week.






On Android or built-in display (P4P+ / CrystalSky)

    In DJI GO, click the 'Me' icon:





    Click the 'Flight Record' link:





    Then click the top-right icon to sync your flights with the DJI servers:





    Go to Airdata's DJI Login page, and click on the Sync button.

    Moving forward, your DJI flights will automatically sync on your first login each day, as well as automatically once a week.

Can you have two DJI account for my logs? I made a mistake and created a new dji account with the Rc pro controller but i would like to have my 2 dji accounts both show in my flight logs, i will no longer use the mistake account but i would like to see the 2 weeks of flight data in my main air data account, is there a way to merge them

Hi Bill, good question. Yes, you can add multiple DJI accounts to your AirData account. To add a new DJI account, please click on "Add a new DJI Login" on this page: app.airdata.com apage_id=DJI_Login

As a side note, the AirData UAV mobile app can sync the flight logs from your RC Pro directly with your AirData account, which bypasses DJI's servers, so you would not need to add your DJI credentials to AirData. What do you do if only a partial flight is downloaded, but you see the entire flight in the DJI cloud? Now my official flight hours are off and everything associated with my flight record.

Hi Jim,

We replied directly to your email but I wanted to place my comment here as well for others to see.

Please be advised that cropped flights with DJI Fly is a known DJI issue. Essentially, DJI uploads the flight record to their servers while the drone is still in the air, resulting in a cropped flight when AirData receives it. This typically happens more on iOS devices, but we've had a few Android reports as well.

We recommend using our AirData UAV mobile app to upload your DJI Fly flights to AirData, which prevents cropped flights as they do not need to first go to DJI’s servers. To learn more about syncing your DJI Fly flights with our AirData app, please visit the following pages:

I guess I’m not understanding how it is a DJI issue when the flight isn’t cropped on the cloud and I didn’t sync Airdata until well after the flight, at least 30 minutes. If Airdata was being synced while I was flying, I can understand how what you said would apply. But the data was fully in the cloud, according to how you describe the process, before I synced Airdata. I think you’re just passing the buck onto DJI for convenience and Airdata reputation.

Regardless, how do I correct for the cropped flight. How do I get that flight fully into my Airdata record?
